That's unreal. How many total man hours of labor you think?

The associated link I just posted says (for the assembly) 1,300 people for 10-11 18 hour (2 shift) days. So that's 234,000 man hours for assembly! The entire build takes 10-12 months but it doesn't say how many people are involved. Edit - that may be 1,300 people across the two shifts, if so that's 'only' 117,000 man hours.

Just astonishing. Can you imagine one person trying to do all that! I don't think there is enough time in a lifetime.

117,000 hours is about 40 years of 8 hour days if you worked 7 days a week. About 56 years if you worked 5 day weeks.
