    He does have a good point, however I would rather have him direct it to both men and women. Either sex can dedicate themselves to their kids, and family. I feel that either can do the job, the most important thing is that someone should, otherwise they will be raised by a nanny call Helga.

      You're right that his point should have been directed at both men AND women. That's what I found most appalling about his statement. Stay-at-home dads are becoming a lot more common nowadays. The key is equality when it comes to options and life choices. Also, for the first 5 years definitely one parent would ideally stay at home with the kids. However, many parents can't afford a single income for that long and have to make do with the one year maternity leave that's usually provided. Once the kids are in school though there's no reason why both parents can't work again.
