10 years ago+4 4 0I've taken over /t/ourplanet, give me all your money and women!
/t/ourplanet is a tribe about Earth and all that is wonderful about it and worth saving or making better. I've claimed it because it was chiefless (and memberless). Come check it out, there were already a few snaps when I claimed it, and feel free to add some content and say hi! Everyone is welcome, it is our planet, after all!

/t/firstnations is about aboriginal people. I'm not sure what the intention was in the beginning, but I believe "First Nations" is the general accepted term to describe aboriginal nations of all the tribes that lived in Canada before the European settlers came. I'm not sure it applies to aboriginal people of other countries and territories as well. I guess the new chief can decide what content they will accept.

10 years ago+4 4 0How would you react to French content in the Canada tribe?
I often post French content on the Quebec tribe, but I always hesitate before posting it here as well, even when it concerns the whole country. I've ended up not posting anything in French here out of fear of it being badly received, like on some other sites, despite Canada being an officially bilingual country, at least on the federal level (and on the provincial level in a few provinces, at least de facto).
There are French natives in every province and territory of Canada, but most, if not all of them speak English almost perfectly (but for some in Quebec and maybe a very select few in New Brunswick). There are also many English native Canadians who understand French on various levels.
For the moment, Snapzu doesn't fully (or rather officially) support content in languages other than English, as properly revealed in this discussion ; and it caused an unfortunate Quebecer exodus from Snapzu (temporary I can only hope). Which is very sad considering Snapzu is a Canadian project, its admins being based in Vancouver, BC. If you're interested in the way Snapzu should treat languages other than English all around the site (both snaps, discussions, tribes, users, UI, etc.), I invite you to check the /t/NonEnglish tribe.
With all that being said, let's come back to my initial question : how would you, the members of the /t/Canada tribe, react to French content and comments (in both French and English discussions and snaps) being posted on the tribe?
