Yeah, that is why I have been using black and white for all of my tribe flags and banners, because the noise doesn't seem to be as visible that way as it is with color images.

Part of me would like to see custom thumbnails or labels available to moderators for text posts/stickies, so that some emphasis could be given to special posts such as "Topic of the Week" or "Tribe of the Month". I would also like to see less lossy image compression, so that banners and tribe flags don't appear so pixelated.

I actually was interested in claiming the tribe for myself and in fact contacted Team Snapzu to have them reset the previous at-the-time inactive tribe chief. But when I went to claim it, I found that my level was too low. If someone of high enough level were kind enough to maintain it until I reached level 15, that'd be pretty awesome. I think I could do some nice things with this tribe to re-orient it towards personal finance. But I'm sure anyone else could as well, if they wanted to. (This submission would have also been good for /t/TribeTalk BTW, I mean to populate it)

I don't find myself ever going over on my phone, you could probably limit it pretty easily or have notifications warn you of it beforehand. In fact I think that laptops with data plans might already be a thing? Either way, this could definitely be practical for some travelers, especially on the road I'd think.

That's awesome. I think the cello would be an interesting instrument to learn to play one day. I also picked up a guitar last year and mean to learn it, but I have just been too busy for it.

It seems like that is a current issue with many Snapzu tribe flags. I have found that this happens most frequently with colorful flags, and that black and white flags like I have used in /t/milliondollarideas, /t/oregon, and /t/Portland do not suffer from this.

Snapzu is now in the lead, which it very much deserves. I like that the Reddit community is filtering out into multiple different communities though. It seems that Snapzu is getting all of the friendly folk.

Welcome! I feel the same way and also intend on settling down on Snapzu. I plan on contributing as much as I can to this community, and will work towards a high quality platform of free (but healthy) communication wherever I can.

I think they both definitely do count. I am myself somewhat similar in that I also like a very wide range of music.
