Single. Payer. Period. Insurance companies have proven that they are nothing more than greedy assholes. Let's put them out of business to show them how much we appreciate their efforts. And, let's not let the pharmaceutical companies, hospitals and other greedy assholes who rape the system have a pass either. They have had their run, it's time to end it.
Yes. Now, how are we going to get Washington to do that?
First, we get the money out of politics and go to public campaign finance. Then, we make lobbying illegal. Then we outlaw regulatory capture. Then we set term limits.
Oh, wait, the question was "How are we going to get Washington to do that?" I have no idea.
