I feel like one day some ancient alien civilization that finally made it here is going to find a semi-deserted planet without humans on it and start digging us up, and then they'll spend hundreds of years determining we looked like this or that... my point is I just don't know how they can come out and say it looked like this or that without an intact specimen. I'd much prefer they say we believe it looks this way and here is why... too often science stories are reprinted as if it's all fact...
