What's different is that in the first wave, all sorts of people were hit. Now, all the cooperative, logical people are vaccinated, and most of the people who end up in hospitals got their kicking and screaming.
Absolutely! The reasonable people that appreciate the concept of society and cooperation have mostly been vaccinated by now. Really the only ones left are the skeptics, the antivax folk and the people simply terrified of the vaccine due to a steady diet of misinformation and conspiracies they see in their facebook feeds, etc.
