We are so screwed. But, we would have been screwed with Hillary as well. How the people of this country could look at a man like Bernie, hear his ideas, then reject him in favor of Clinton is beyond my comprehension.
The ‘irregularities’ from the primary election spilled over into the general. Here in California, many that registered as Democrats to vote for Bernie, only to find their registrations had been subject to vote-canceling ‘irregularities,’ are still registered incorrectly. Provisional ballots that are practically never counted, vote-by-mail only instead of at-poll-voting as they’ve always been, updated registrations that never updated, on and on. So much of election fairness in the U.S. depends on the adversarial conflict between the two major parties that if both the parties want voter registration fouled up, it will be.
