I don't think its just "airlines" being effected, it goes much deeper than that. Unfortunately we are now seeing the effects that capitalism and the worship of money can do to a society.
We are indeed. Money is indeed all that matters now and people are just a means to an end..The end being,of course,ever more money.
You know, I'm not religious, but there's a reason why pretty much every religious or moral system I can think of regards greed as one of the worst sins. Greed can make you rich in the short term, but will destroy you in the long term. It seems that western society is experiencing just that.
