I'm guilty of the clicking through and not reading most of the stuff, but skimming it and I never stopped to think about how stupid any of it was. Seeing it laid out like this is a bit of a letdown, and now I must play it again just to see it all in its stupid glory for myself. Then on to New Vegas and Fallout 4.
I actually started playing this past weekend. I'm well aware of all the ridiculousness in the game. During my original playthrough on PS3 there were many dumb little things but they didn't' take away from the fun of the game. Discovering things was always fun. But that ending. The disappointment in that still lingers. This time on PC with Mods plus DLC. Definitely improves some parts of the game to make it fun and interesting.
Read the whole thing in a single sitting. Good points, doesn't stop F3 from being in my top ten games though. A lot of the issues could have been because this was the developers' first foray into Fallout territory and were trying to balance their own ideas in what was already established universe ('umm, those Enclave guys were bad right? Well let's add them!'). I just started playing New Vegas over the weekend and I definitely see an improvement with the characters and overall feel of the game.
