    So, here's the thing. We, as human beings, have this weird tendency to think that health care is something you do out of compassion, and that people deserve to not suffer horrible diseases and die gruesome deaths when there's a simple, cheap way to prevent them. This is setting aside the complicated, or expensive, ways, which you might also believe are worth it but don't apply to this article.

    The problem is, this is not true. As we have set things up, health care is something you get if you have money, and if you're poor you will die horrible deaths from diseases that can be cured with treatments that could easily be cheaper than your typical Domino's pizza order. But the people who order that pizza are able to afford it, whereas you don't. So instead of pepperoni, you get death.
