I don't think that the current situation has a peaceful solution. The powers that be won't suddenly decide to peacefully give up all the unconstitutional powers they've given themselves, won't give up all the free money they get from the uber rich, and certainly won't turn wild neoliberal policies around. No matter how much door-knocking we do.
