I've taken some time to process and I support removing Roseanne and I'm sad that it has to be canceled and all those people lost their jobs but it has become clear that as one of the creators they can't just fire her. If they were to continue with the rest of the cast she would still get paid and it would still be a reward for her in a way, ABC can't stand that. I would love for them to retool it and continue the story of a widowed father while keeping the cast together, kind of thumb it at her. I'd just like to see the cast stay on TV because it was something you don't too often see and that is a "struggling family" sitcom.
