Ouch the rest of the cast must be PISSED.
I'm glad that ABC took a stand against racism like this. It'll make others think twice.
I've taken some time to process and I support removing Roseanne and I'm sad that it has to be canceled and all those people lost their jobs but it has become clear that as one of the creators they can't just fire her. If they were to continue with the rest of the cast she would still get paid and it would still be a reward for her in a way, ABC can't stand that. I would love for them to retool it and continue the story of a widowed father while keeping the cast together, kind of thumb it at her. I'd just like to see the cast stay on TV because it was something you don't too often see and that is a "struggling family" sitcom.
What's really sad is that all the behind-the-scenes crew and other workers that are now out of work because of an incredibly inappropriate tweet that was not even remotely funny.

What she said wasn't racist though, it was honesty and she's a comedian. Plus A LOT of people you don't hear about lost their jobs when the show got cancelled, not just Rosanne. I think this is making a big deal out of nothing. Jarret was born in Iran, she's not Iranian, she's not Muslim and there is nothing to substantiate the statement....these kinds of memes and false quotes come from real shit hole sites. That you would even post something like this here disgusts me. That is hard to do.

Like any born comedian, she often can't tell when she's gone too far. Twitter's a bad room for reading audiences' faces.

She comes by her lazy, casually bigoted, willfully ignorant, obnoxious racist stupidity honestly? Super. Agreed.
@AdelleChattre @Appaloosa The pictures were "half-meant" as jokes, I just grabbed a couple. I think people need to get thicker skin though, Roseanne isn't racist and her comment might not have been the nicest or smartest thing to say, but it's not blatantly racist either unless you're one of those people that think anything referring to monkeys is racist. Jarret is half-black btw, does that change anything as far as saying she looks like character from Planet of the Apes? This is just stupid to me, blown way out-of-proportion, and shouldn't cause people with no history of racism to be immediately labelled, ridiculed, fired, and judged. *I'm not some Jarret hater or Roseanne lover and I'm second generation Portuguese so I have no dog in the fight, just an unbiased opinion.
