Chickens have gotten ridiculously large since the 1950s
The one on the left is a breed from 1957. The middle one is a 1978 breed. And the one on the right is a commercial 2005 breed called the Ross 308 broiler. They're all the same age. And the modern breed is much, much, much larger.

At this rate, by 2100 we will have chicken the size of Velociraptors.
It's bad enough that chickens are being engineered to be larger faster, buy by the time the meat gets to the grocery store shelf it's been pumped up with water. It's increasingly difficult to just buy unadulterated meat sourced from normal livestock.
I love chicken! I hope they keep getting bigger!
Soon we will have horse sized chickens and they will take over the world
