Galaxy S10's first-day registrations fall shy of predecessors

The number of Samsung Electronics Co.'s Galaxy S10s that South Korean users have signed up for at local mobile carriers came to 140,000 units on the first day of registration, industry data showed Tuesday. The number of Galaxy S10's first-day registration falls below that of the Galaxy S9's 180,000 units released in March 2018 and the Galaxy Note 9's 200,000 units launched in August, they noted.
