I do hope The Gaurdian has something to say about this. If this is true, Jacobs should be publicly disowned by them and fired.

    Would you consider that a strong enough action? I like The Guardian. this was a deliberate hit job by Jacobs...the editor got caught and made a very lame gesture to correct.

        Jacobs is a bad operator. It's not the first time he's gilded the lilly for effect....but this one is particularly bad. Dump him
