It's interesting how the grand majority of serial killers I've read about had a sort of unhappy or traumatic childhood, or some kind of unjust punishment enacted on them before fully maturing. I know there are probably people out there that had everything and still turned crooked, but it makes you think... is it possible that we're making these monsters? I think that for the most part, we are. Violence is only paid in kind, and even if the kid you beat up doesn't come back to get you, he'll find a smaller kid to beat up and repeat the cycle.
