Goodell gets pie in the face over Papa John’s pulling ads
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was blindsided by one of the league’s bigger advertisers after the chairman said he was pulling its ads over lagging ratings and the league’s botching of the National Anthem situation. Pizza magnet John Schnatter, founder of Papa John, took the league to task during its earning call.
