Always wear a helmet. The circumstances I had learnt under could have been worse. But smacking your head on a tarmac road certainly wasn't an easy way to learn.

I drew on my iPad when I was travelling. I decided not to shave so that's why I have a disgustingly thick beard.

How I spell my name using Chinese Pinyin. A little bit different to how it is spelt in real life.

I used Duolingo for a while to learn French. Although I found it fun, it was less personalised as Memrise. I can pick exactly what things I want to learn in Memrise. For examples, 'Top 100 Chinese Verbs', 'Chinese phrases', 'HSK1-5'.

The apps are great for learning on the go. The fact you keep repeating over and over can really help the new words stick in your memory, The 'mems' you choose, or create to help you remember the things you learn are really useful.

I do prefer using the website though.

I like most kinds of music. For discussions' sake, Hip Hop, Jazz, Rock, Electronic. Throw most genres at me, if it's real music, I'll probably like it.

Where do we get started? We could dance round electronic if you want? :p
