From a quick look on wikipedia, no. Nothing new since 2009. http://www.nzherald....mp;objectid=10561809 says that drugs may have been involved.
The description makes this seem like a plot for a movie.
Wow, I've never read this before. The people that live their during the winter sound like an extremely interesting bunch, and this case is intriguing. Too bad nothing new has come of it. Pretty much the perfect crime at that point.
