That's what makes these vices so pernicious, and why all good people must band together to to put an end to this weakness in our society. The sooner we overcome this, the better. Only then can we move on to address porn....

Was I too subtle? I thought that I had crafted that rather nicely.

He'd make a great vice president for Jill. For once, I'd like to be proud of who I'm voting for instead of having to hold my nose to avoid the smell in the voting booth.

I hope that the video showing the murder will carry some weight, but the "justice" system seems keen to keep facts from interfering with whatever it is that we pay them for. I fear that I'm becoming more cynical by the day.

These folks are providing a service that is essential to good governance, which is to follow the paper trails. The daily processes of government have been made intentionally tedious, in the hope that people will not follow up. A simple reform, requiring all government documents to be published online (they have them in electronic form already) should be put into place to remove any and all barriers (bogus copy charges, delays, complicated request procedures). Until that happens, MuckRock and those like them are critical.

...which means that these cases should be continued as civil cases. Why would one not be culpable for abuse by simply quitting the job?

This is simply not feasible on a large scale. The water and light are free and 100% sustainable outdoors. Indoors? Heating, cooling, insect problems, light (produced by fossil fuels, and inefficiently at that). This will serve a niche market for fresh greens close to large cities where the rich can afford the price. Even figuring in the cost of transportation from the field, this looses out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISAKc9gpGjw

The criminal intent here should stem from her attempt to avoid any future FOIA requests. I must say, though, that I've given up hope that the ruling class will be held accountable for anything anymore.
