Smog? It bolsters military defence, says Chinese nationalist newspaper
A nationalist newspaper has tried to put a positive spin on China’s smog, claiming it is conducive to the country's military defense strategy. Smog, it argued, could thwart missile attacks and hamper hostile reconnaissance.

Sadly, I expected this.... I can't really blame them for trying to put a positive spin on this, given that the whole world is now talking about what has been a growing issue for the past decade.
Way to may a positive out of a negative. Smoke grenade ftw.
This is true and the US should follow suit in the name of homeland security.
China never ceases to amaze me.
I know this is a serious issue, but the newspaper spin on the smog it's just precious, "what, bad? No, this is actually good. For reasons. Military reasons. Go china!"
