For me, it is a combination of making the best out of your own life while also doing as much as you can for others.

I've always heard it as you tape the two sticks halves together because two halves make one hole

This is how the free web is destroyed if we aren't careful.
ISPs, search engines, etc don't have the resources to filter out every single illegal or immoral link, and if we start going after that freedom of expression will start to be seriously damaged and it opens the door for further censorship.
ISPs are utilities, and should be treated as such. They have no right to decide the content of the message going over their lines.

This is pretty much exactly what I expected.
And this comes from Toronto, which is in my opinion one of the more aggressive places in Canada.

This is what happens when people with very little experience with how the real world works are given a direct line to anyone they don't like.
99% of the people who sent those messages probably would never do anything and are just idiots overstating their ridiculously blown out of proportion rage. However, since there is no way of separating the cruel but harmless jackasses from the actual threats, all of those now have to be taken seriously.
I just hope our future generations understand better how to respect each other through the web, as it is an amazing tool that has far better purposes than this.

Good start. Let's work on reforming the laws themselves though, so the countless people imprisoned for non-violent drug crimes are given the help they need, rather than stuck in a jail cell filling the pockets of private prison corporations.

Some of the mainstream articles I were reading tried to cover up how horrible it really is until 2/3rds through the article. Comcast almost had me excited until I read the details.

But this tale of drama is kinda ridiculous, not gonna lie.
I agree though that the treatment of Pao is unacceptable however. No matter if she did anything horrible to the site, death threats and personal harassment are unacceptable.

Performance has been better than 8, the layout is awesome, start menu is back (and IMO improved), modern UI improvements, really good computer wide search built into the task bar, built in modern apps are well made and simple, but also not required by any means and not obtrusive.
Overall, I can do what I want with it, it runs well, looks great, and I really have no complaints. Not sure what more I could ask for in an OS.

Idiotic. Voting is the most basic right and duty you have as an American citizen. We should be encouraging people to do it, not making it harder.

Huh. That's a bummer. I was really hoping for varied language discussions in my tribe for the French football club /t/psg as it has a huge number of fans that speak either French or English. Do I have to remove content that is not in English, or can it be allowed on such a small, niche tribe?

That's fair, I can only know my experience which has been positive. I guess many more bugs likely will appear as the hardware running it becomes more varied on official release.

Honestly, I understand why everyone is worried about stability, but so far for me the recent tech release builds have all been shockingly stable. They've done pretty extensive testing for launch this time.

I'm on an older laptop as well, and 10 actually seems to work better than 7 on this one. Not saying you should do it or not, but might be worth trying it via dual boot for a while or something.

I actually agree. This is the best Windows release I've ever used. It is just... beautiful. Smooth, fast, fully featured.
It just seems to leave you as much space and resources to do what you want with it. Also, start menu is back. Don't use edge or cortana much, but the other small tweaks from windows 7, along with the performance and appearance improvements, make it awesome for me.
Swear I'm not a Microsoft PR rep, I just really love this version :).
