New graphene super batteries charge up in seconds and last virtually forever
Swinburne University researcher Han Lin developed a new supercapacitor using sheets of graphene created on a 3D printer, and it charges faster and lasts longer than traditional batteries. With the aid of one of the strongest materials on Earth, a researcher at Australia’s Swinburne University has created a battery that charges up super fast and can be used over and over and over again, without losing efficiency. Researcher Han Lin developed the battery using a form of carbon called graphene, which is commonly heralded as one of the strongest materials on the planet.

You can 3D print graphene? I didn't know that! Excuse me while I go buy a 3D printer.
As a side note, can someone tell autocorrect programmers that graphene is an actual word? When was the last time you used the word "grapheme" for anything?
Before this comment, when was the last time you used the word 'graphene' for anything? Or 'graphane'? Or 'graphyne'?

Actually I do research on carbon-based materials so I do use it a lot. But I understand this is not mainstream :)
For us this probably won't go real far sadly, the light bulb industry has worked for nearly a hundred years to gimp technology like this in their business, LED lights artificially burn out faster than they should in order to keep the profits high.
