Meet Graham: What the ideal human body to survive a car crash looks like
What would human bodies need to look like in order to withstand a car crash? Introducing Graham. The Transport Accident Commission in Victoria, Australia, teamed up with traffic researchers, a trauma surgeon and a sculptor to create Graham. The superhuman body is equipped with features that would protect Graham in a serious car crash, including a large skull to cushion the brain, no neck to eliminate the risk of spinal cord injury, and joints that move in all directions to increase flexibility.
