Josh Smith says his $6.9 million salary will make life “harder” for his family
Josh Smith, who signed with the Los Angeles Clippers this month after spending last season split between the Detroit Pistons and Houston Rockets, said at his introductory news conference earlier this week that his lower salary will be “harder” for his family. Smith’s contract with the Clippers will pay him $1.5 million next season. If it's too hard for him, I'd be happy to take a few million off his hands.
It really doesn't matter how much money you make if you spend it all as fast as you get it. This guy will be dead broke as soon as he can't play any more.
