It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.
Even if the possibility of misinformation brought by this website is sad, it's not Google's fault. I don't know for how long it's been up there, but assuming it's been a while, it's just because the site was the most visited when people searched for that question, Google's algorithms picks it up as the most likely information the user is seeking; actually, highlighting it by publishing articles and news about it will only worsen the issue. It could also be a "Google Bomb" deviced to put the site at the top, but it's unlikely seeing how the original article was written 8 years ago.
Again, it is sad that misinformation can be so easily widespread but it's a mistake to blame Google for it.
