What exactly are they charging him with? I thought this meant vandalism at first, which definitely should be prosecuted to some level. But being a dumbfuck and doing no actual harm to the statue gets TWO YEARS of prison? That's fucked up.
You're talking about the US justice system here.
This is absurd. If it had been,say, a bear,or a gater statue at the zoo,no one would have batted an eye.
Those Ronald McDonald statues where he [sits on a bench get tons of sexual and nonsexual poses from girls and guys alike. Imagine arresting and charging people for "desecration" on every statue out there, its complete insanity.
