I'm watching the morning news here. 30 people in hospital so far, they are avoiding any estimates of deaths. This is a very large family tower, many children. 140 flats in total. It is being reported that it started from an exploding refrigerator on the 2nd floor.
As this unfolds, this is going to be a very tragic event.
The speed of the fire is surprising everyone indicating that many may not have had the chance to get out
It's looking quite grim unfortunately.
So is it looking intentional or an accident? I read the article but didn't see any mention of it. I hope most got out.
From what I can tell, it was caused by some sort of explosion or electrical issue with an appliance.
Holy shit that is a massive fire. I really REALLY hope everyone is ok.
London is just taking a beating this spring. tragic stuff.
