Four times missiles have been fired at me. I am extraordinarily fortunate to be alive. I don’t want to end up a “Bugsplat” – the ugly word that is used for what remains of a human being after being blown up by a Hellfire missile fired from a Predator drone.

One of the things I couldn't stop thinking about after reading this is the utter disrespect for human life implied by calling the victims of drone strikes "bugsplat". Think about this for a minute. This is how Obama and most of the government and military think of the actual people they're murdering on the other side of the world. It's like a video game for them, like stepping on a bug. And most of the time they're murdering innocent people who have done absolutely nothing against American citizens and pose no threat whatsoever.
The worst part? All these atrocities achieve nothing but angering more people against Americans. Which may incidentally be what Washington wants, because war is money.
Bugsplat. Think about that. Think about your husband, wife, son, daughter, or parent being destroyed by Obama's drones and being called "bugsplat". How would you react?
