Why the EU is going after Google and not Apple
On April 20th, 2016, the European Commission announced that its year-long investigation of Android had led it to believe that Google might be violating European Union antitrust laws. Maybe Apple is on their to do list and Google is just not privy to the info.
I think it would be Google, then Microsoft. Not everyone has Apple devices but nearly everyone uses Google and Microsoft products. Also Microsoft is encouraging them to go after Google, in a big way.
