Well, it already is a non sequitur. Just about most people who get to the interview process are qualified, if not overqualified, for the job, so it really doesn't matter as much as seeing if the person fits the atmosphere of the company of it they have a certain quality that hiring person is looking for.

Getting a job is rough, and education has been puffed up to be a bigger aspect than it actually is. :(
