US 'to go on offensive' against IS
US President Barack Obama is to set out his "game plan" against Islamic State militants in a speech on Wednesday. Mr Obama, who has been criticised for failing to outline a strategy, told NBC TV the US would degrade IS, shrink their territory and "defeat them". US jets bombed IS targets in western Iraq for the first time on Sunday. Meanwhile, the Arab League has vowed to take "all necessary measures" against IS, which has seized a huge amount of territory from Iraq and Syria.

Eager to see who this 'international coalition' will include.
On one hand I really want ISIS dealt with, and on the other, I hate that we're deciding to be the good guys again. More money poured into military budget and more American lives lost.
Although its true that it might be that whole "good guy"scenario all over again, if ISIS reaches the US and manages to organize within, its going to be a big problem to root out in the future. This goes for all other established countries.
