I'm surprised to see this on the front page of /t/music! This album reminds me of flying to Los Angeles to visit my cousin since I bought the album right before I got on the plane. The whole album (minus the title track in my opinion) is post-hardcore perfection.

Yeah I agree, I really liked that we surprised everyone too. Hell, they surprised me! I woke up after the Seahawks game ended (I was living abroad at the time) and was so shocked we had beat them. It was a great feeling. As long as our defense improves and our running game doesn't suffer too much from the loss of Murray, we should do pretty well!

Not much unfortunately. But hopefully they won't get the rights renewed so we can have some competition to start forcing improvements to Madden every year! But I'm right there with you, it's still better than nothing. It's still a lot of fun, it just feels like it could be so much better. You kind of feel cheated when you spend $60 on essentially the same game every year if you want the latest version.

Oh there's no way we won't pay him a good amount of money. Everyone knows he's too important to get rid of after next year, so they'll sign him with some big money.

I would definitely make a small amount of money involved as it seems to make the game a little more serious. I've never personally played in a league with a fee of over $30. Nothing too big, but that will help. It's also nice to have a draft party, where, if possible, all the people in the league show up and draft together. It can be quite a bit of fun! Maybe have some beers and whatnot. As Ajwerth said, some nice trash talking never hurts. Good luck this year!

Haha, I hope you're right! I'd love to see a Cowboy's Super Bowl win in my adulthood, and I feel like we got a little robbed last year. We were so close to going so far!

I haven't watched the trailer since I'm at work, but does it appear like it's going to be very different? I know it says the passing game is transformed, but I can't help but feel like most Madden iterations are essentially the same with minor tweaks. They need a competitor to keep them on their toes, but I think they have the NFLPA's license for the next couple of years (if I'm right). Either way, always nice to have a game where you can play your favorite sport!

The artist did a great job! I had this painting hanging in my dining room wall growing up, it brings back some memories.
