One In Three American Children Have High Cholesterol
High cholesterol is linked to an increase in cardiovascular disease risks. A new study conducted by a pediatric cardiologist at Texas Children's Hospital found that roughly one in every three American children aged between 9 and 11 have high cholesterol. This puts them at a higher risk of developing cardiovascular diseases in the future, according to a press release.
