The link is for the full-sized banner because snapzu scales down the photo from the link to 1170x106 instead of keeping the required 1680x153 size. When users try to upload the smaller image to their profile or tribe it comes out pixelated. Here is an example of a user that had this problem Is there any way I can keep the full resolution of the photo without having to share a link or putting the link into a discussion snap? (I'd prefer that people can see a portion of the banner in the cover photo.)
In future snaps, if you'd like me to link to the website where I got the original photo I would be happy to do that. I appreciate that snapzu doesn't like it if users post other people's photos without crediting the photographer, so maybe you could help me with what your guys' guidelines are concerning photos that are for free or that don't have information about who created them. Thanks!
Thanks for your input! Yes, I believe what you explained does make sense to me. So I know we are all on the same page, let me know what you think on what I'd like to do in the snaps: (in order)
1. Header with main link to full resolution imgur photo.
2. Photo module with the low resolution photo of the banner. (I want there to be a scaled down representation of the full-sized banner so people can decide if they like it or not without clicking on a link.)
3. Link to the source of the banner photo, making sure the link is to an actual website page that contains the full sized photo, not just a ".jpg". Included in this module description will be an explanation of the link and whether or not I was able to find the original photographer.
In order to keep the snap more streamlined, I would prefer not to add the full-sized uncropped photo as a photo module. Rather, I'd like to keep the link to the website of the photo's origin as the place where users can find the full-sized uncropped photo.
