I wouldn't recommend doing this. Generally the rule of thumb is that if comments are only made to earn XP points then they should be down voted. Receiving enough downvotes has very negative consequences on a user's rep score which is the fundamental factor used in dozens of areas of the site.
Thanks for the information. I was really interested if you could abuse the xp system that easy. I kind of like it how community driven this content aggregator is.
Thank you, I hope you enjoy it! We spent a considerable chunk of our development time to come up with a system that better let the community as a whole decide if a person is creating meaningful content or just doing it for "points". We hope it works as well as we imagined it :)

Except all posts are visible on the front page / newest feed, so spamming is likely to get caught and removed.
