    While I appreciate this as a symbol of support for women who want to both be professionally competitive and also mothers, I feel like it's an answer to the wrong question.

    There are a lot of reasons why it's biologically more optimal to have children at a younger age aside from egg decay. Additionally, the interplay of age and biology aren't the only things that make it so difficult to realize professional ambitions and adequately have enough time to raise a family at once, for both genders.

    Really, I think there needs to be a larger cultural change around the expectations of the work/life boundary. (I'm mostly speaking about American culture.) We should value people being fully-rounded and having time to be people as well as employees. There's so much you can discuss regarding this issue.
