I've had my fair share of both sides of this arguement, for me it's alone, listening to some chilled music, without a care in the world, also, more for me

For me it depends on my mood, I will usually go the alone route for very similar reasons as you stated (time to reflect, etc)... but then sometimes I feel like relaxing with a few buddies so we can crack jokes and be stupid together.

I prefer the lone wolf approach --- chill to some music, and just relax.

I live with five people, so there's almost always someone to smoke with. But blasting back a bowl by myself and playing some video games or listening to music is also pretty great.

Depends on the occasion really. I'm definitely OK with both.
