Two Pakistan men allegedly gouged their sister’s eyes out and cut her feet off in an “honour killing” after they suspected her of kidnapping. The pair are believed to have cut out the eyes of 40-year-old Shareefan Bibi with a “sharp knife” and sliced away her limbs before fleeing from the scene. She was reportedly taken to a rural health centre on Tuesday, and in turn, a hospital in the city of Multan, where she was placed in a critical condition.

A Halloween party in San Antonio, Texas, turned violent overnight when a man dressed as Freddy Krueger pulled a gun from his costume and opened fire on the crowd, shooting five people, CBS affiliate KENS reported. According to police, around 5 a.m. Sunday morning, a group of males showed up to a Halloween party and started causing trouble. One of the men, dressed as Freddy Krueger, then opened fire, shooting five people. Freddy Kruger is the horrifically-scarred, homicidal villain of the “Nightmare on Elm Street” movies.

German police say four people have been injured in a stabbing attack at a commuter rail and subway station in downtown Frankfurt. Frankfurt police spokeswoman Chantal Ench said the attack took place Saturday afternoon inside the Hauptwache station. Ench says four people were taken to the hospital with stab wounds, but she didn't have details beyond that.

A nurse has been charged with the murders of eight elderly people under her care at nursing homes in southwestern Ontario over a seven-year period, police said Tuesday.

Police arrested two teenage girls seen attacking a 62-year-old man in a viral post on Facebook in front of his Syracuse, New York home. The man told police he was assaulted Wednesday afternoon after politely asking a group of teens sitting on his lawn to leave. What happened before the video was recorded is not clear. Cellphone footage of the resulting confrontation, which has since gone viral on social media, shows one of the girls punching the man twice in the head, according to WSTM-TV.

Four teenagers have been arrested after mobs of juveniles staged a series of vicious attacks on students around the Temple University campus. Police said students were surrounded, punched, kicked, robbed and in some cases knocked to the ground in a spate of attacks by groups of teens on Friday night. Three people were killed and 12 wounded early Saturday at a shooting in a Los Angeles restaurant. Police have taken two “persons of interest” into custody but are still searching for other suspects. LAPD Sgt. Frank Preciado said there were about 50 people inside a restaurant in the West Adams district when an argument started between two separate groups. Three men left, came back with guns and began shooting at the other group, while members of that group returned fire, Preciado said.

Ethiopia's government says several people have died and others have been injured in chaotic scenes at a festival near the capital, while the opposition party says the death toll is at least 50 in a stampede sparked by police action to break up a protest. "As a result of the chaos, lives were lost and several of the injured were taken to hospital," the government communications office said in a statement on Sunday, without giving figures. A 4-year-old boy died of a gunshot wound in his home on Milwaukee's north side Friday, police said. The shooting was reported shortly before 6 p.m. in the 2100 block of N. 15th St., according to a news release from the Milwaukee Police Department. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Milwaukee County medical examiner's office.

A thug has been filmed kicking a elderly man to the ground in a sickening attack in London. The elderly man is then sent crashing to the floor after being kicked in the side by a young man. He hits his head on the pavement in the apparently unprovoked attack.
