Best Bars In Toronto (Top 10 list)
Toronto is the largest city in Canada and known for it’s iconic CN Tower, which held the title as the tallest freestanding structure for just over 30 years, that was until the completion of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai in 2007. Even though the city may have lost its world title for tallest buildings, it still keeps its cool with being one of the most diverse and best party cities in Canada.

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford? I voted for him and I'd do it again
He’s admitted to smoking crack cocaine “in a drunken stupor.” He’s been caught on video making seemingly drunken threats. And then there’s the time he made comments about oral sex on live TV. He’s still the mayor, but increasingly in name only. Toronto’s City Council voted to strip him of his powers and part of his budget. But Ford vows to carry on — and supporters still have his back, especially those in Etobicoke, the heart of Rob Ford country.

Unconscionable that Rob Ford stands by his words
Is there nothing this man won’t do to save his skin? Are there no words he will shrink from saying, no reputation he won’t sully, no barrier he won’t cross? Just when it looked as if he couldn’t sink any lower, Mayor Rob Ford did something truly vile. In an interview with his new publicity agent, Conrad Black, broadcast on Monday night, he hinted that he thought a Toronto Star reporter might be a pedophile.

When temperatures plummet these Toronto Island residents lace up their skates and glide across Lake Ontario
On New Year’s Day my son and I skated on Grenadier Pond in High Park; alas, the freeze-thaw cycle left it too bumpy. Good news came from Mr. Farquhar, one of Toronto’s devotees of skating on natural ice. By day, he is director for the Office of the Worker Advisor at the Ontario Ministry of Labour. On his down time, Mr. Farquhar and Ms. McDonnell, Toronto Island residents since 1981, love to skate on Toronto Harbour. A few years ago he added me to 90 people on the email list for his “ice report.”

'Belligerent' Rob Ford warned by security at Air Canada Centre
A “belligerent” Mayor Rob Ford received a warning from Air Canada Centre security staff at the Toronto Maple Leafs game on Saturday night, an ACC source says — and the city council’s budget chief was concerned that he lost the mayor after the game. Twitter erupted during the game with a rumour that Ford had been kicked out of the building for intoxication — as he was in 2006. The source said Ford was not evicted but was warned for his behaviour.
