Are we discussing card games? (e.g. MTG, Munchkins, etc...)

Just wondering if we want to head that route with discussions as well or keep it to more of a board game type focus?

Well there's Pathfinder Card Adventure Game which is like, Card game/boardgame/rpg tabletop game all in one, so not sure where that would fit in hahaha.

I played it once, fell in love with it, bought it and many of the expansions and now I have n one to play it with :(. Also unlike other rpg type games which have a small player base in some areas, you can't just find an online community to play it. Anyway, not sure why I ranted about that here haha, just suddenly popped into my mind. :P

        Close......

ok not really, I live in South Africa haha ;P Which is why I find it harder to find groups for such things. It's cool though, I will find someone eventually. The game is not going anywhere :D

Magic already has it's own tribe: /t/magicthegathering not really sure what the overlap between this and /t/boardgames are. I asked on a different thread, but OP hasn't responded yet.

There's also /t/mtg that has been around since November '13

Ahh weird. I found /t/magicthegathering from a post on /t/lounge a few weeks back, but I guess the hard part of small communities is niche groups just don't have enough people to have enough established aspects of which one is "the" one. It looks like /t/mtg was active about a year ago for a few posts, and that's it..

Yeah - maybe /t/mtg is no longer active and you could get the admins to merge the two? I'm a member of both, I think - but I'm happy to be in either/both :)
