I use photoshop (not that I'm great at it but I know some basics) and the closest thing to that which is free is gimp. I do think it has a learning curve though.
All good, I figured out how to get what I needed from MS Paint. Going to have to figure out how to do something a bit fancier for /t/DestinyTheGame, though. I'll give in and try to play with photoshop. Thank you for your help.

Oh, good ol' paint. It has saved me on more than one occasion. Happy photoshopping!
