Resources, Rules, and More!
This tribe is where you can post all content related to the Rocksmith and Rocksmith 2014 game series by Ubisoft. If this game sounds interesting, and you would like to know more about it, here's a video that describes what its all about. Gameplay videos, questions, discussions, and reviews are welcome, and even encouraged here!
Rules
As with any community, there has to be a couple rules. I've tried to make sure the rules were as lenient as possible, and simple to follow. Without further ado, here they are:
- No flaming, harassment, abusive language, bigotry, or trolling
This is a community about a guitar based video game, not a battle ground, so keep it civil. Any of the listed behaviors will not be tolerated.
No spam
No link dumping
Posting videos you've made is fine, but don't dump them and move on. Make sure you actually engage with the community, rather than use it as a quick way to get views.
- Piracy
Even though custom DLC is a grey area, don't encourage the illegal downloading of the game or any official DLC. I don't know if it's a site rule, but it's definitely not tolerated by Ubisoft, so don't do it.
Resources
Here's a list of resources that might be helpful. If you have any suggestions, let me know and I'll add them.
Customsforge is an excellent site to get information about Custom DLC installation from. In order to access any CDLC downloads or links, you have to create an account in there, or sign in with either Facebook or Steam.
This is the official Rocksmith 2014 forum created and controlled by Ubisoft. Take note: any mention of CDLC is an immediate ban.
Put this here, because they have some good threads about the game over there, and it might be useful to sift through some of the questions there if you have a problem and need a super quick response.
RiffRepeater.com is an excellent site that covers all things Rocksmith. They're usually the first ones to cover and upload official DLC.
This is where TheRiffRepeater uploads all of their DLC videos. They have a huge catalog, that includes most - if not all, songs on Rocksmith 2014, and the original Rocksmith (IIRC).
This is where a lot of trailers, advertisements, and other videos are posted by the Rocksmith developers.
