Hello!
Until I was in my 30s, I had a very traditional set of piercings - 2 in my left ear, 3 in my right. After my divorce, I got my nose pierced. Since then I've added an industrial and a tragus to the left ear and a helix to the right. I used to have a daith on the right but I lost the ball part of the hoop at Burning Man one year and didn't get it replaced before it closed. I also used to have my sternum pierced but my body rejected that one, most likely because I'm a stomach sleeper and all that friction wasn't good for it. I was meh about losing the daith, probably because I know I can get that replaced. I do miss my sternum though! It was so pretty before it went bad.
I'm not interested in going below the sternum for piercings and I have to be careful of what is visible as I work in a hospital and they are conservative with their piercing policy. However, I'm really wanting another one - maybe I'll get that daith put back in.

Hey! Welcome to /t/piercings! Thanks for sharing! Always nice to hear a story about someone getting brave and going for more :)
Thanks! I've heard it said that once you get one tattoo you kind of get a hunger for more. I think piercings are the same way. :)
