Wouldn't it be great - since this isn't reddit - to pick a new name?
The term PC Master Race is a bit of a circle jerk in and of itself. "Master Race" has such awful connotations and I don't understand the desire to self-describe this way. I have been gaming on PC's since 1992.
This is a new site... new ideas... a fresh start. Can't we come up with a better name for ourselves?
Edit: It's OK. I found /t/pcgaming :-)

The PC Master Race community is a circlejerk that is broader than just reddit. I mean sure, you can create your own new community, but the term PC Master Race refers to a specific group.
And I'm quite proud of this circlejerk. Hey man, this is my main circlejerk.
You don't have to get a new circlejerk. Maybe, just, your main circlejerk doesn't have to be Nazism.
Unless it does, in which case, Q.E.D.
My suggestion is, leave the swastikas back on Reddit where they belong.
The name of PC Master Race did not originate with reddit. As many people know it came from Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw. It will survive beyond reddit.
The phrase has a meaning, which is why Choshaw half-thinkingly used it. That meaning remains, whether or not you believe it’s been culturally reappropriated somehow. ‘
I've always considered the name a joke. Yes, there are obnoxious PC gamer fanboys who take it too seriously, but so what? This doesn't have to be a community filled with those people. I think most people are very aware of the connotations. I really don't think even the most devout PC fanboys think of it as anything more than a joke.
I think people just want more of the same content, but want a different platform.
“Master” “Race” was a borderline joke to begin with. Here, where console gamers are mythical beasts found only in tales we tell small children, maybe it’s time to grow out of the Holocaust in-jokes. Just a thought.
It’s early enough to easily set out for new ground. Make it your own, yours.
