    Missing Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi endured a horrific seven-minute ordeal as he was butchered alive inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, a source has claimed. The death squad are reported to have listened to music through headphones to drown out Washington Post columnist Khashoggi's screams. The anonymous Turkish source claims to have heard an audio recording of Khashoggi's grim final moments, recorded on the journalist's own Apple watch , shortly after he entered the consulate on October 2.

Wojciech Janowski was Poland’s honorary consul to Monaco at the time of the murder of the billionaire heiress Hélène Pastor, 77, and her driver. They were gunned down in her car by two hitmen in Nice on 6 May 2014.

The death of Fares and other recent killings prompted Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to order an investigation on Friday. The former Miss Baghdad, and first runner-up for Miss Iraq, was killed on Thursday after gunmen opened fire on her in the capital's Camp Sarah neighborhood, according to a statement by Iraq's Interior Ministry, which is investigating the incident.

    A Tulsa man has died in prison seven months into serving a life sentence for killing his Lebanese neighbor in what prosecutors said was a hate crime. Stanley Vernon Majors, 63, died in the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester. He was found dead in his bed in the maximum-security prison's infirmary. Officials said the death would be investigated and did not reveal why Majors was in the infirmary.
