Back when HBO’s Watchmen wrapped in 2019, Polygon staffers jumped into a response conversation about the show’s future. That series ends on a pregnant moment, with an open question about one character that could be left as a standalone “The Lady, or the Tiger?” moment, or could be spun up into its own followup story. The question, though, wasn’t “Will there be a season 2 of Watchmen?” so much as “Do we even want a second season of Watchmen?”

It's about to be a busy time for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Last Thursday, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige joined executives from other Disney-owned studios to unveil exciting new content coming to consumers over the next few years. While Feige himself didn't provide dates for most of the new content announced, one new document from the House of Mouse suggests every show he talked about will be released at some point in the next two years.

The fans without fear are out in force on Twitter today. The Netflix movie and TV rights to the adventures of blind superhero Daredevil are expiring today, which means the Man Without Fear could finally be used in any number of ways by Marvel Studios, where the property can be further exploited for film and TV.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe series created for Netflix were, overall, pretty good. There were some low points, but there were some incredibly high points as well. Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk was, without question one of those high points. His portrayal of Marvel's Kingpin was quite possibly the single greatest performance across the various series, and D'Onofrio himself has made it clear he loved playing the role, and he very much wants to do it again. Even two years later, he's still campaigning for the gig.

The Deadpool video game was released in 2013, and for fans of the Merc with the Mouth, it was the perfect interpretation of the character. Unfortunately, there hasn't been a sequel, but we did get a re-release on the current generation of consoles when the Deadpool movie was released.

Robert Downey Jr has confirmed he won't be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The star was asked about any upcoming plans within the MCU while on the SmartLess podcast, to which he announced he was finished with Tony Stark and Iron Man. Speaking to the 55-year-old about his work/life balance, host Jason Bateman asked: "I'm assuming that the Marvel thing is at a slower speed now... or you're done with that now?"

Marvel has just shut down production on three of its upcoming Disney Plus TV shows, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki and WandaVision. All three of the shows were currently filming, though there is no word on when production may resume, according to Variety. Marvel shows that are currently in the pre-production phase will continue work remotely.

Saying that the story of “Spider-Man 3” is “absolutely insane,” Tom Holland is excited to put on the Lycra suit of Marvel’s webbed-slinger again come July when they start shooting. In our recent interview, Tom talked about the untitled “Spider-Man” sequel, which will be directed by Jon Watts with the script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, based on the comics by both the late Steve Ditko and Stan Lee. The English actor also confirmed that Zendaya will “definitely” be back as MJ.

The Fast & Furious star is going to be on a high in 2020 as he will be appearing in two major outings – Bloodshot and Fast & Furious 9. While Bloodshot will begin a new franchise (let’s hope it doesn’t fail), we’d be seeing the 9th installment (10th including Hobbs & Shaw) in the Fast Saga. Vin Diesel fans love the various characters that he has played over the years. Dominic Toretto is his biggest character, but Riddick, Groot & Xandar Cage are also fan favorites.
