Ever since Guardians of the Galaxy hit theaters back in 2014, fans have been clamoring to see Nova take to the big screen. And while there have yet to be any official plans announced to bring the character to the Marvel Cinematic Universe anytime soon, the character is said to have “immediate potential.” During the press junket for Avengers: Infinity War, ComicBook got a chance to speak with Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige about Nova’s possible involvement in the MCU.

A little while ago it was rumoured that Joe and Anthony Russo would say goodbye to the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Avengers: Infinity War and the untitled Avengers 4, however, it sounds like the directors are excited about their future with the studio. Speaking to Screen Rant at the press junket for Avengers: Infinity War, the Russo’s revealed that they would love to keep working with Marvel Studios and are excited about the possibility of working with characters that Fox currently owns, such as the X-Men or Fantastic Four.

Black Panther is ruling Wakanda, the global box office and as of Tuesday, he is also the king of Twitter. The Marvel Studios blockbuster "Black Panther" is the the most-tweeted about movie of all time, Twitter announced on Tuesday in statement. The film, which stars Chadwick Boseman and is directed by Ryan Coogler, has amassed more than 35 million tweets.

Fighting bad guys is fun, but characters finally meeting each other is the true draw of the Marvel teamup.

Disney has decided to place even more emphasis behind its Black Panther movie by putting their money where their mouth is. They will be making a $1 million donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America so that they can expand their STEM programs. They're also founding 12 STEM Centers of Innovation across the nation. They will serve as a place where kids can get hands-on experience in the different fields and hopefully become inspired to pursue careers of their own.

Ryan Meinerding, the head of visual development at Marvel Studios, has an Instagram account that’s essentially a record of what could have been. On the page, unused designs for a bearded Hulk in Thor: Ragnarok live alongside takes for a more tech-infused Rocket in Guardians of the Galaxy. While the sketches may just seem like a fun “What if?” they’re actually essential to the making of the MCU.

Avengers: Infinity War may still be a work-in-progress, but so far the film has a thumbs up from the Mad Titan. Josh Brolin plays Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. While speaking to Flickering Myth, Brolin couldn’t say much about the film, but he’s only seen a portion of it so far and he liked what he saw. “I’ve seen 30 minutes of Infinity War and thought it was amazing,” Brolin said.

"With many Netflix originals, we own all the rights to the title and can offer it for download. However, some TV shows and movies are produced in partnership with a studio that owns the franchise or intellectual property associated with the content. While we may have the necessary rights to offer a title for streaming, we may not be able to offer it for download."

Black Panther is continuing to climb the charts. Marvel's latest film just became the ninth-highest grossing movie of all time at the domestic box office. Black Panther earned $4.7 million on Monday, bringing its domestic box office total to $506.4 million. That's enough to overtake Disney's Beauty and the Beast, which earned $504 million during its 2017 run.

The Wakandan nation keeps getting richer as Black Panther is poised to deliver a rare $100 million second weekend at the box office. After opening to $202 million in its first true three-day weekend, the Marvel Studios film did little slowing down during the week. The film, in fact, broke weekday records with numbers like a $14.5 million Tuesday. The film can see a 50% drop from weekend to weekend and still top $100 million in weekend two.

When Empire magazine published its list of the all-time top 50 villains in cinema in 2016, there was no place for any of the Marvel cinematic universe’s many baddies. In fact, only a single comic-book villain, Heath Ledger’s Joker from 2008’s The Dark Knight – made the cut. The MCU has had its moments when it comes to charismatic exponents of evil – Tom Hiddleston’s heartbroken yet icily evil Loki in Kenneth Branagh’s Thor and Cate Blanchett’s slinky but ruthless Hela in its sequel, Thor: Ragnarok, spring to mind. But it would probably be fair to say there have been as many misses as hits along the way.

Black Panther director Ryan Coogler is feeling grateful. His Marvel Studios film is enjoying a historic run, with it earning $242 million at the Presidents Day box office, the second-best four-day showing ever in the U.S. It has become the best reviewed live-action superhero movie ever, and is being haled as an important cultural moment thanks to its diverse cast and themes of African pride.
